    PROGRAM SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

    Youth Empowerment Summit (Y.E.S):

    • $3,000- multiple Sponsors needed.
    • YES designed as one week intensive leadership training program for youth age 13 - 17. Your support will enable NBDA to provide travel and lodging for participants. Without this assistance, disadvantaged youth would not be able to participate. This conference marks the 10 year anniversary of the Y.E.S program.

Collegiate Black Deaf Student Leadership Institute (CBDSLI):

    • $3,000- multiple Sponsors needed.
    • CBDSLI began in 2005 as an intensive 1 week leadership training opportunity for minority college students. Your support will enable NBDA to provide travel and lodging for participants who do not have financial support from their college to attend this once in a lifetime dynamic program.

Miss Black Deaf America Pageant & Scholarships:

    • $5,000 - multiple sponsors needed.
    • This event has produced dynamic female leaders who have made their mark in society. Your support enables us to provide appropriate prizes and scholarships to the pageant contestants. Your sponsorship also enables us to assist with the travel and lodging expenses of the contestants and their chaperones.

    Meet the Authors:

    • There is a dire shortage of publications which address the issues of multiculturalism and the Black Deaf experience. Despite the handful of authors, they have not been given the exposure to highlight their work. Through this sponsorship, writers will be recruited to share their work, have book signings, and hopefully encourage a new generation of authors.
