  • Welcome to NBDA!

Welcome to the National Black Deaf Advocates (NBDA) Web site. NBDA is the official voice of Black deaf and hard of hearing Americans—a community that has historically been neglected in terms of provision of equal access to education, employment and social services.

For more than two decades, NBDA has been at the forefront of the struggle for access, and equity for Black deaf and hard of hearing people. NBDA's objective is to provide advocacy intended to remedy past injustices and to stake a share of the American dream for its members and their families. We welcome your support and partnership and hope that your navigation through our Web site will be enlightening.
