New President's Vision for NBDA at President's State of Union- "Moving Up to New Level"(Note: This was the presentation I had planned to share with the audience during nomination process at the general meeting). My vision for NBDA includes: 2. Challenge the committee/Board members/officers to improve the quality of the programs 3. Recruit more advisors/mentors to local chapters 4. Bring more Black Deaf history/education/arts/research to NBDA's light 5. Offer more training opportunities for officers/committees/chapters/interpreters and establish resources for families with a deaf child.
