Important Notice: Change of Time & Route for Tomorrow’s 5K Run/Walk Fundraising Event
The time and route for the Fun 5K Run/Walk Fundraising event scheduled on April 27th at Gallaudet University campus have been changed. Due to the circumstances beyond our control, we will not run/walk on the University campus. Instead, it will be on an off campus route. Former NBDA Board Member Honored for Extraordinary Contribution to Advocacy
Donald Tinsley, Sr., former NBDA Treasurer (2000-'02), received the 2012 Distinguished Leadership Award for his extraordinary contribution to advocacy. “Know Your Rights” Employment Law Videos in ASL with English Captioning
The Legal Aid Society – Employment Law Center in San Francisco, CA recently created six “know your rights” employment law videos in ASL with English captions. The videos range from 10-20 minutes each and cover a variety of topics relevant to workers and job seekers who are deaf or hard of hearing. Some of the videos are California-specific.
