Y.E.S. Scholarship Fund
Criteria
- Former or current Youth Empowerment
Summit (Y.E.S.) participant.
- Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Must be a senior at a high school or a student at college.
- Must be or have been in a leadership position (e.g., treasurer
of Jr. NBDA)
- Must have at least B grade average.
Procedure
- Must fill out application.
- Two letters of recommendations, one from a teacher.
Fund
- Each candidate can be awarded $500.00, $750, or $1000, pending
funds availability.
- Y.E.S. Director, NBDA Executive Board, and NBDA Scholarships
Committee must decide to select number of recipients who apply
for scholarships.
