Reginald Bess
Reginald Bess was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1981. He currently resides in Decatur, Georgia. He graduated from a public high school in Clarkston, Georgia. Reggie obtained his B.A. in Accounting (with minor in mathematics) from Clark Atlanta University in May of 2006. Currently, he works as a math tutor and permanent sub teacher at Atlanta Area School for the Deaf. Also, he is an independent contractor with Georgia Perimeter College as a math tutor for the deaf and hearing students with various disabilities. Being a math teacher for the deaf pupils is his passion. Reginald is also a motivational speaker for the deaf communities, having been invited by University of Georgia and Georgia Perimeter college. He also have been invited to several different elementary schools in Georgia to encourage deaf students to stay in school. He loves to travel, play basketball for the deaf tournaments, and motivational speaking. He will be attending Gallaudet University on a fellowship to study Deaf Education and is currently in developmental stages with setting up a new educational enterprise, Kiziwi Rising, with Kristi Merriweather.
