Longtime NBDA member on TV's American Inventor!NYCBDA member and filmmaker Ann Marie (Jade) Bryan was featured on the ABC TV show "American Inventor" on Wednesday, as an inventor. Her invention was a contemporary-looking vest with embedded wireless speakers to function as a "iPod" for the deaf and hard of hearing. She beat thousands of applicants to become the one of the three semi-finalists for NYC. Although she did not make it to the NYC finalist, she remains optimistic that her invention, a year-long and $5000 investment, will attract the backing needed for mass production sometime in the future.
