About National Black Deaf Advocates
The National Black Deaf Advocates (NBDA) is the official advocacy organization representing thousands of Black Deaf and hard of hearing individuals across the United States. Established in 1982, NBDA was founded by Black Deaf leaders who recognized the need for stronger representation in leadership, policy development, and decision-making processes affecting the lives of Black Deaf and hard of hearing Americans.Mission

NBDA is governed by a volunteer Executive Board made up primarily of Deaf and hard of hearing advocates. Its Board of Directors includes:- National officers elected during conferences
