Rehabilitation Specialist will provide daily living skills support to Deaf or hard of hearing clients in a residential setting. Applicants must be fluent in American Sign Language. The day-to day job responsibilities of a Rehabilitation Specialist include tasks like transportation, assisting with money management, diet coaching, shopping, cleaning, assistance with ADL’s, and teaching life skills, BUT the most critical thing that a Rehabilitation Specialist does at Arundel Lodge is to assist people in their journey of recovery from mental illness, physical illness, and substance abuse.
Minimum qualifications are high school diploma or equivalent. Related work experience and education in Human Services or related field preferred. Individual must also have valid driver’s license. We offer health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, paid time off, sick leave, and holidays.
