Natasha Ofili’s work in fashion has been a great journey. She is a Designer for a children’s wear manufacturing company, located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, in which she designs for licensors such as Hello Kitty and Disney for Dillard’s, Kohl’s and Target.

As a fashion designer the creative adventure will never fade. With her newfound glory, the unexpected art of acting has taken her by surprise. Ms. Ofili had an opportunity to perform a monologue, where she faced a sensitive subject that made her shine. She also appeared in a PSA by Wordplay, Inc. for the Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness (GLAAD). In addition, she had an amazing opportunity to play a lead role in a short film, “Words not Spoken”, where she played a lesbian African American teenager dealing with life challenges.

In February 2014, Sorenson Communications recognized Ms. Ofili for her work and featured her in their newsletter.

Ms. Ofili is a first generation African American who grew up with strong influences from her mother who emigrated from Sierra Leone, West Africa. Ms. Ofili faced her own personal challenges at the age of 2 when she lost her hearing. However, her challenges only served as a positive driving force as she pursued her dream through creative talent and determination.
